Ian De Witt attends the 15th International Insolvency & Restructuring Symposium in Paris

Insolvency and Restructuring Partner Ian De Witt recently paid a visit to the City of Light to attend the 15th International Insolvency & Restructuring Symposium. He was the sole delegate from Hong Kong.

Held at the InterContinental Paris le Grand Paris, the Symposium was co-hosted by the:

• American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI);
• International Insolvency Institute (III);
• International Association of Restructuring, Insolvency & Bankruptcy Professionals (INSOL);
• Turnaround Management Association Europe (TMA); and
• International Women’s Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC).

The Symposium included sessions on distressed investing, Brexit, third party funding, trade wars and more. Ian gave attendees an ‘on the ground’ update from Hong Kong and was pleased to hear from the other delegates on cases around the globe.
